St. Matthew is beginning a Bible Study together for the next several weeks on Wednesdays at 7PM. It will be live via ZOOM. To join the Bible Study, it does not require you to have any software on your computer. Just follow the steps below.

Pastor will begin interacting live with everyone at 7PM. There will be about 3 minutes of waiting for stragglers to get on, next a brief instruction process, then we will get underway. The Bible Study will be conducted using PPT, so having your screen up to look at will be useful. Also have your Bibles.

Here are the steps to follow to join the Bible Study at 7PM via computer:

  1. Click the link below or cut and paste this link in your web browser's URL line:

  3. Sign-In with your full name. No password is required.
  4. Indicate that you want both computer video and audio to work.
  5. When you log on you will see other participants. Also, you will see the PPT slides running before the meeting begins. You will be muted automatically upon entry.
  6. At 7PM pastor will begin speaking to everyone and we will go from there.

If you would like to join by phone (without any visual access to the PPTs), here is how you can do that:

  1. Call this number: 312 626 6799
  2. Use This Meeting ID Number: 813 0034 3445

Please be patient and flexible as we navigate this new medium together. Let's GROW in God's Word together!

Also, if you haven’t already, consider joining our congregation-wide effort to read through the entire Bible over two years. Join in at any time. All you need to do is purchase the Todays Light Bible (it has short devotions after each assigned reading and it has all the readings broken apart by days). Here is the link:

Let Pastor Brown know you are ready to be included in the weekly emails that detail where we are at in our readings and give a bit of context to each Book of the Bible as we begin to read it. Consider using some of your quarantine time reading scripture together with your church family. All you read is 2-3 chapters each day. You can do it! What a great time to start!

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. – Hebrews 4:12
